I would just like to tell you
We loved our short stay at Brunia Stanford Hills, this weekend gone by.
The decor of the cottage was lovely and the setting was gorgeous
. The hospitality was amazing from everyone at The Tasting Room
We all loved feeding the lambs.
The environment was relaxing and chilled, we loved your wine and our lunch was delicious too.
Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it too.
We will definitely be back.” Lauren, by email
“We visited the Tasting Room when we recently stayed at Stanford Hills Estate and we were not disappointed. Although rustic, this added to the ambience of the area. The food was excellent and the local wine was also out of the top drawer. We were served immediately upon arrival and the manageress was in attendance. She gave us her most undivided attention informing us about the whats on the menu and what she could recommend. When our meal came we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was worth the visit.” Sunnybrae, Tripadvisor
“We had our wedding at Stanford Hills Estate and it was perfect. It is the family farm we wanted but didn’t have. However Leigh-Ann and her team made it feel liks ours for the weekend – everything we wanted we got, nothing was impossible. It is a working protea and wine farm so they supplied beautiful protea arrangements for the tables and ceremony as well as their delicious wine for the reception. Chef Bridgette, from their quirky and relaxed “The Tasting Room” created the most amazing food menu for our modest budget. Another added bonus is that there is plenty of great accommodation on the farm (totalling 35 ppl) so our immediate family and bridal party were accommodated.
All in all a great place with great people. Pop in for lunch or to get married. You will not be disappointed either way.”Monya Tripadvisor
“I recently treated my family to stay over at the Brunia Cottage at Stanford Hills Estate. Upon arrival we were taken aback by the beauty of the place and its magnificent setting amongst the vineyards and the protea plantation. We were greeted by a lady by the name of Trish who kindly showed us where to go. She told us to make ourselves at home. We proceeded to this beautiful clean cottage overlooking the Stanford Valley. We loved the quaintness of the little cottage. We then explored further and had a delicious meal at the Tasting Room. The manageress was such a friendly lady. We sampled the wine which was out of the top drawer. Again with the sun shining it was beautiful just to relax and take in the wonderful views. After our lunch we walked around the property right up the hills on the 5km set out walk. It was just awesome as you get higher you take in the beautiful views. I must say I come from KZN , but I have never experienced such beauty as what Stanford Hills had to offer. I do not regret treating my family all the way from KZN to such an awesome place to relax and chill out. For me Stanford Hills Estate is the place to be.” Tripadvisor November 2015
